nourishing the leaders of tomorrow

NW Next is a membership made up of Seattle area "40 Under Forty" honorees who are committed to making a positive difference both professionally and in our community.  One way we do this is to award scholarships to two future leaders (college junior or seniors) each year as well as offering them a year mentorship from a
"40 Under Forty" honoree.

The Northwest Next Leaders Council is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 Northwest Next Young Leaders Scholarship. Each of the scholars receives $2,000 to apply toward their tuition and the opportunity to work with a NW Next mentor.

Congratulations to both Daniel Choi & Snezhana “Shauna” Stadnik, they both are motivated young leaders with exciting plans for the future.

Daniel Choi is currently at the University of Washington studying English & Physiology and plans to someday earn a PhD in Race and Ethnic Studies.

Snezhana “Shauna” Stadnik is currently at the University of Washington and is studying Political Science & International Studies.

Note: We were overwhelmed with the number and quality of this year’s applicants. This made the decisions necessary to choose our award winners extremely difficult.  Thank you to all that applied.
